THE SEVEN COMMANDMENTS

AAP candidates contesting the Delhi Assembly polls had to take these vows

1 I will not accept or use a vehicle with a red beacon.

2 I will not use security personnel if not needed. 3 I will not accept a big bungalow. 4 I fully endorse the concept of Swaraj. In a democracy, power must be with the people and not with politicians and bureaucrats. I will endeavour to bring in such a law. Until then, I shall work in consultation with the people of my constituency.

5 I am committed to the Jan Lokpal Bill and electoral reforms and shall make every possible effort to see these through.

6 Government must not have the power to acquire land without the consent of the people. I will strive to bring in such a law.

7 I have read and understood the philosophy and objectives of the Aam Aadmi Party and fully agree with them.
