It’s the dream project of the star-studded Akkineni family. Three generations of Akkineni superstars—Nagarjuna, son Naga Chaitanya and father A. Nageswara Rao, a veteran Telugu actor—have come together for the first time in the Telugu film Manam. The seniormost Akkineni, who turned 90 this year, is playing the role of Nagarjuna’s son in the film loosely based on the 1985 American science fiction comedy Back-to-the-Future. Family projects seem to be flavour of the season in Telugu film industry. Another multi-starrer from the Manchu family is on its way.
