This place blurs the lines be­tween café and bak­ery. A whiff of freshly baked cakes wel­comes you when you step into this won­der­ful sweet shop filled with con­tem­po­rary dark wood fur­ni­ture. This bright cor­ner café makes for a use­ful stop for a quick lunch or cof­fee. You can count on them for a good cup of espresso and the cold cof­fee tastes di­vine. We rec­om­mend you try their opera pas­try, which has a strong cof­fee flavour that might be too bit­ter for your taste but its smooth af­ter­taste is tan­ta­lis­ing. But their dough­nuts steal the show. Go for sim­ple and sweet Dutch dough­nuts or cream puffs. In bev­er­ages, Chef Mrin­moy Pal rec­om­mends their sig­na­ture mock­tail Dark Shine (coke, le­mon, mint and lots of fresh fruit juices ). Among their savoury items, sand­wiches, Kathi rolls and chicken puffs are quite good.
