This place blurs the lines between café and bakery. A whiff of freshly baked cakes welcomes you when you step into this wonderful sweet shop filled with contemporary dark wood furniture. This bright corner café makes for a useful stop for a quick lunch or coffee. You can count on them for a good cup of espresso and the cold coffee tastes divine. We recommend you try their opera pastry, which has a strong coffee flavour that might be too bitter for your taste but its smooth aftertaste is tantalising. But their doughnuts steal the show. Go for simple and sweet Dutch doughnuts or cream puffs. In beverages, Chef Mrinmoy Pal recommends their signature mocktail Dark Shine (coke, lemon, mint and lots of fresh fruit juices ). Among their savoury items, sandwiches, Kathi rolls and chicken puffs are quite good.
