October 31 6 to November 1 India's foist Dhanteras & Diwali mela is all set to take place at Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana. Organised by Prime Exhibition­s Pvt Ltd, the mega festival shall bring forth exciting products like jewelry, accessorie­s, fashion wear, gifts, toys, footwear, home decoration products, furnishing­s, kitchen appliances, packed food and many more. Scheduled to open on the day of Dhanteras, the exhibition aims at encashing on the huge Dhanteras sales. The event promises to be an extravagan­t affair, offering products that are unique in taste and high on creativity. Do drop in for branded and non-branded products that can add glitter to you festival purchases. Expect to have some great prices as wholesaler­s and retailers come together to offer their wares! At Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana Theatre. The cultural evening shall showcase dance and music forms from Himachal, Ladakh, Thailand, Bhutan, Sikkim and Tibet. “There are students form all these regions who are residing and studying in the city. All these places have a very strong cultural heritage. Our main idea is to connect people through culture.” says Jigmet Angchok, president of the Ladakh Student Associatio­n, Chandigarh. The event, aimed at the youth of the city, is being supported by the NGO, 'Yuvsatta'.
