Enter the store and you are bombarded with dresses boating of western cuts and fused with Indian embellishments. From conceptual saris in neon colours to drapes for different occasions, Aliyana by Meena Bazaar, the recently inaugurated store at Sector-17 in Chandigarh promises to be a satisfying and enriching shopping experience for the fairer sex. A high-end designer boutique spread over 5,000 sq ft encompasses the best in designer lehengas, suits, evening gowns and unstitched fabrics.

Besides clothes, the place also showcases a whole range of matching accessories. Including handbags, shawls and stoles. Aliyana, which is the first of its kind in north India, displays creations by over 50 designers from Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur and elsewhere, who are exclu- sively working for the brand. “Aliyana offers stuff crafted by a bunch of young, exceptionally talented creative team of dynamic designers, well-versed in the art of styling,” says Rajnish Jain of Meena Bazaar. It is hard not to notice a lot of neon shades in the store. “We’re witnessing a massive demand for neons. Aliyana brings you the outfits for a modern, standout look,” he adds.

The store has theme-based floors, with the ground floor catering to the Indo-western clients. The mezzanine floor has an exotic collection of designer suits while the first floor houses a special studio, solely for the couture range, with an array of clothing from around the country.
