Return of the Dancing Diva

Superstar Madhuri Dixit had once said in an interview that motherhood will never be a hindrance in her career and that she will definitely make a comeback in Bollywood (“The Constant Charm of Madhuri Dixit”, February 17). Even though her film AajaNachle (2007) was not the dream comeback that she had hoped for, her stunning performance six years later in DedhIshqiya has been a treat for her fans. It is great to see her back on the silver screen. Not only is she a great actor but also a superb dancer. In fact, even though there is no dearth of good dancers in Bollywood, there is no match for Madhuri. In a male-dominated industry, Madhuri has been able to hold her own and has charmed her way into the hearts of millions of fans .
