AKHILESH HAS HANDED OUT15 LAKH COMPUTERS
He kept his Assembly poll promise of handing out free laptops. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav now plans to engage with young, first-time voters through social networking. His team is designing a Facebook page called ‘Talk to your CM’ through which they will invite young voters to “comment and advise” Akhilesh on issues of governance. Sitting pretty after distributing over 15 lakh computers since coming to power in 2013, he is looking to negate Narendra Modi’s ‘Chai pe Charcha’ campaign in UP. Akhilesh is set for an end-February launch for his Facebook page.
