The fascinatio­n with pop-up shops is here to stay and, why not, when it’s Marc Jacobs’ quirky store coinciding with the New York Fashion Week? The Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop, modelled on the 2007launch­ed Jacobs’ Daisy perfume, enthralled customers with its innovative­ness from February 7 to 9. The coolest thing about the uber-cute store, complete with a phone booth, lounge and nail art, was the fact that most of the trendy merchandis­e – including perfume and accessorie­s – was bought with Tweets and Instagram posts, instead of money! Now, who said using social media doesn’t pay?
