High fashion helmets

The Dedon swingrest is, without doubt, the ultimate in outdoor luxury furniture. Designed roughly along the lines of a bird’s nest, its sturdy yet elegant suspension system lends to a stable lulling motion. The cushy tabletop in a shade of earthy natural weave can be rotated 180 degrees and has an optional fabric curtain. Designer Daniel Pouzet modelled the elongated suspension on the extra-high ceiling of Dedon’s living lab in Philippines. Lazing in the sun will never be the same again! What do you get when you mix football with fashion? Haute couture football helmets, of course! A quirky collaboration between Bloomingdale’s, NFL and Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) resulted in 48 pieces of headgear covered in sparkles, fur and feather that were auctioned for a cause.
