GMR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ACHIEVING BETTER EDUCATION

1 Education goals must include an explicit commitment to equity so that every child has an equal chance of receiving an education.

2 Every teacher should be provided pre and in-service training on ways to provide support to children from disadvantaged sections of society.

3 Incentives must be provided by the government to ensure the best teachers are willing to work in remote under-served areas.
