Jazz music aficionados take heart. Come Thursday, and Plush, the hip lounge bar at Astor Hotel, will transform into a fun space (pic right) for live jazz music with Gaurab Chatterjee on drums, Mainak Bumpy Nag Chowdhury on bass guitar and Bodhisattwa Ghosh on guitar. Music lovers can expect more gigs and concerts from other genres of music as well. “We will tie up with international artists so that our guests get to experience the best that jazz has to offer. The idea is to present not only the romantic and softer side of jazz, but also its quirky and edgy elements,” says Vikram Puri, owner Astor Hotels.
