ENTRY AND EXIT

Anita Pratap has joined the list of journalists who have become Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates. The 55-year-old has been given a ticket from Kerala’s Ernakulam constituency and she will be contest against Congress’s K.V. Thomas and LDF’s independent candidate Christy Fernandez. Meanwhile in Chandigarh, AAP lost a candidate when Savita Bhatti, widow of comedian Jaspal Bhatti, opted out of the race. She said that she cannot bring herself to “stoop to the level of stupid and power-hungry minds”.
