Last year on March 8, Vasundhara Raje had thrown a big bash in Delhi to celebrate her 60th birthday. This year, even though Raje was once again in Delhi on this day, which also happens to be International Women’s Day, celebrations took a backseat as the Chief Minister was busy preparing for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. She even met prominent Congress leader Sona Ram, a former member of the Lok Sabha representing Barmer constituency in Rajasthan. “Isn’t working out a strategy for a clean sweep in Rajasthan equivalent to a celebration?” she was overheard telling friends.
