IN HER FATHER’S FOOTSTEPS

Lalu Yadav’s eldest daughter Misa Bharti seems to be displaying a political brain much like her father. Afew days ago, she came to Delhi to visit party veteran Ram Kripal Yadav. She went to mollify “chacha” Ram Kripal, who was sulking after Lalu nominated Misa as the candidate from Pataliputra. She waited for Ram Kripal for six hours in the full glare of TV cameras while making an offer to surrender the party ticket in his favour. When the veteran leader fell for the bait and publicly accepted the offer, he was rebuffed by Lalu and Misa sided with her father. On March 12, Ram Kripal finally found shelter in the BJP. Misa, meanwhile, has started campaigning for her party.
