RaasLeela, the designer label of Hetal Shrivastav and Chaitali Patel, has set up shop in Ahmedabad with an aim to revive local embroidery techniques of Gujarat. RaasLeela’s Indo-Western collection is fully hand-stitched and comprises vibrant silk stoles, khadi tunics, reversible jackets, embroidered saris and much more.

The handcrafted collection, which is contemporary in design and traditional in detailing, is cocreated by the designer duo and 40 women artisans from Patan, Kutch and Ahmedabad. The artisans have the freedom to decide the placement of the embroidery and even the colour combinations. They also choose the stitching technique that would best suit the cut and style of the garment. The iconic motifs on the clothes are intricately designed and smartly placed, depicting local folklores.

Sophisticated and elegant, RaasLeela’s collection is for those who love to flaunt their cultural heritage in a fashionable way.
