RESTAURANTREVIEW /

It’s theatrics from the word go, or rather from the first step you take of the funky staircase that leads you to Sociial District. You can’t help but soak in the happy chaos that seems to be in every nook of this crazy bistro- bar. Picture a red car shaped sofa sharing space with bright chairs at the next table, or a bicycle making up the décor on one wall and computer motherboards adding a touch of drama to the DJ console. An amber glow from several dif different lamps ups the joy quotient by a notch and the menu doesn’t disappoint either. Quesadillas and pizzas with interesting toppings and names like Angry Bird for chicken lovers– are safe bets to be had with a selection of rich frappes over a hearty conversa conversation. Or opt for a fuller platter from the oriental section, including baby corn mush mushroom with basil sauce paired with red China noodles. There’s Hyderabadi biryani too for those who’d rather keep things more desi, and also the Sociial special traditional homemade Maggie. A must- try on the menu is their mango banana and strawberry smoothie called Hollywood Dreamer, which doubles up as a dessert.
