Salim Arif’s latest production, Chakkar Chalaaye Ghanchakkar, is a staging of Gulzar’s play written in the 1960s that went on to inspire the Sanjeev Kumar-Deven Verma classic. Originally inspired by William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors, the play is an updated adaptation and is set in a small town in northern India.
