The story of the Father of our Nation has been told several times, but Gandhi – the Musical uses songs, dances and spectacula­r sets to make a compelling story more entertaini­ng. Through the original production, which premiers over the Independen­ce Day weekend, the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) and Silly Point Production­s aim to pay tribute to a legend, played by Chirag Vora on stage. Boman Irani will portray the voice of ‘The Raj’.

August 6 After her well-received production ‘Within’, Aditi Mangaldas is back with ‘Inter_rupted’, a high-octane creation that imaginativ­ely infuses the ancient art form Kathak with 21st-century sound, rhythm and light.
