the Maharaja Fatehsingh Museum which has an enviable collection of original Raja Ravi Varma paintings that were specially commission­ed by the royal family. Walk through the corridors, plug in the audio guide and relive the glorious life of the kings and queens. Stop at the Durbar Hall, done up with a Venetian mosaic floor, Belgium stained glass windows and walls with intricate decoration­s or step out to admire the Italian-styled courtyard with fountains.
