THE ACTOR METHOD

Actor and MP Tapas Paul, when presented in the CBI special court in Bhubaneswar, tried to impress upon the judge that he was ailing and suffering from neurological problems. To bolster his case, he shook his head, kept mumbling to himself and even acted out in the witness box how he had tripped and fallen recently. The judge was quite taken in by the histrionics, that is until the CBI lawyer reminded him that Paul was a big actor in Bengali cinema. He was sent to three days’ custody.
