With a vision to become a consultancy hub for industries and research organisations, Sathyabama University (formerly known as Sathyabama Engineering College) was established in 1988. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering. “The university is known for its computer science and architecture courses. Our architecture school is one of the top institutes in the country,” says K V Narayanan, Vice-chancellor. The university also offers 600 scholarships to underprivileged students and 10 full scholarships to female acid attack victim every year.
