With its 13:1 stu­dent-fac­ulty ra­tio, Mody Univer­sity stands tall amongst other pri­vate uni­ver­si­ties in the re­gion. Founded in 1998 by Ra­jen­dra Prasad Mody, it is a pri­vate women’s univer­sity that of­fers a to­tal of 84 un­der­grad­u­ate and post­grad­u­ate pro­grammes in en­gi­neer­ing and tech­nol­ogy, ar­chi­tec­ture and de­sign, busi­ness man­age­ment, eco­nom­ics and com­merce, law and gov­er­nance, fash­ion de­sign, and mer­chan­dis­ing. The univer­sity has also started a pro­gramme on nu­clear sci­ence re­cently. “We have a 100 per cent place­ment record, year-af­ter-year.
