Once he ruled the IPL and the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), a legacy he hoped to pass on to son Ruchir. Now exiled cricket czar Lalit Modi is not so sure. So much so that his loyalists postponed the April 26 elections to the RCA, fearing Ruchir would lose. Especially since senior Congress leader C.P. Joshi threw his hat in the ring. Worse, chief minister Vasundhara Raje, whose support Modi could once count on, visited Joshi recently to express her condolences on his mother’s death. No prizes for guessing whose side she’s on.
