India Today - - BEST COLLEGES - Dr Vandana Narang, Director, NIFT Delhi

Education is changing rapidly, both in content and pedagogy, with technology being the driver. Content is becoming increasingly technology-focused, as fabrics, garments and commerce become disrupted by digital technology.

The curriculum has become flexible to accommodate the changing needs of stakeholders. There is an increased focus on issues such as ethics and sustainability.

Classrooms have become more global and collaborative, with tutors and students working together on the challenges faced by the fashion industry. Classrooms are also becoming virtual—students from different locations can join in on lectures, which brings a new perspective to the interactions.
