Tip 1 There is no formula for parenting

One of the most demanding jobs, parenting is an actionpacked journey with its share of good and bad days. Don’t get disheartened if your child is not a poster child. And don’t put too much pressure on the child to be perfect.

Tip 2 Have an honest relationship

You should be willing to apologise to your child if you have erred. The best way to deal with it is to talk about it; have heart-to-heart conversations, children do understand.

Tip 3 Create a balance

Inculcate empathy in them. Being tough and being compassionate need to go hand-in-hand.

Tip 4 Inculcate humility and gratitude in them

As parents, it is most important for us to teach our children to feel blessed for all that they have. In this competitive world, there will be always be someone better off than them and someone who has less than what they have. They need to appreciate what they have got and make their choices.
