For the past 20 years, Dr Shobha Koser, 72, who heads the Pracheen Kala Kendra has been consistently organising different summer works at her institute attended by more than 80 students every year. This year, youngsters from different age groups will be taught folk dances of different Indian states besides workshops on drama and painting and Madhubani School of paintings. “It may sound clichéd, but I have made it my mission to introduce the younger generation to our rich cultural heritage through different art forms.
