ONE MAN ONE BOAST
Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari has claimed it was his 2.45 am call to party president Amit Shah that helped the BJP form a government in Goa. Gadkari said he made the call after the March 11 results established a hung house, telling Shah that if Manohar Parrikar was made chief minister, the party would win the support of three Goa Forward (GF) MLAs. The GF, though, has a different take. GF leader Vijai Sardesai went to the BJP after discovering that the Congress planned to make his detractor Luizinho Faleiro CM.
