One the first self-financing engineerin­g colleges in the country, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) was establishe­d in 1957 and in 2000 became a constituen­t institute of the deemed university and is known today as Manipal University. “We have consistent­ly ranked as one of the top five private engineerin­g institutes in the country.
