Though Bharati Vidyapeeth Univer­sity was founded in 1964, its col­lege of en­gi­neer­ing was set up in 1999 and is af­fil­i­ated to Guru Gobind Singh In­draprastha Univer­sity (GGSIPU), Delhi. “Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Col­lege of En­gi­neer­ing fo­cuses on the cur­rent tech­nol­ogy needs and the job mar­ket. We find and ad­dress the gap be­tween the cur­rent de­mand and cur­ricu­lum by pro­vid­ing need-based tech­ni­cal and soft skills train­ing to our stu­dents,” says prin­ci­pal Dhar­mender Saini. The univer­sity has an in­tel­lec­tual prop­erty right cell which was founded in 2013 with the ob­jec­tive to gen­er­ate new ideas and help stu­dents.
