GLA UNIVERSITY

Mathura, Uttar Pradesh

-

Spread across 110 acres of land, the university was set up in 1991 in order establish Mathura as the knowledge capital of western Uttar Pradesh. Students get to learn scientifically and on the basis of facts and figures while the faculty acts more as a facilitator and not just as an instructor imparting knowledge mindlessly. “We stress upon interactive learning and two-way communication processes. It is an environment that combines the best of pedagogy and encourage students to ask, be curious,” says Chancellor Narayan Das Agarwal. Frequent industrial workshops and exchange programmes help students to have first-hand experience and acquire skills.
