He was in the city to cel­e­brate the 94th birth­day of DMK leader M. Karunanidhi, an event that be­came an op­por­tu­nity for var­i­ous op­po­si­tion lead­ers to show unity and a joint re­solve to be­come rel­e­vant again. Rahul won­dered if the BJP be­lieved Modi was the fount of “en­tire univer­sal knowl­edge”. The BJP did not re­spond di­rectly, though Rahul was trolled mer­ci­lessly on­line.
