Spray with Love

Thirty-six-year-old Jhelum Biswas Bose, founder of Jhelum Loves and a former beauty editor at Harper’s Bazaar India is a selfconfessed lover of beauty. “I loved studying bach flower remedies and aromatherapy for I increasingly felt the need for skincare and haircare that was simple, gentle and effective. I started experimenting with essential oils and came up with face wash, face mist and face oil. This was around end of 2015,” says Bose. By April 2016, her friends and family started ordering the products and before she knew it, Jhelum Loves became a fully functionally brand. “The USP of my products is the sincerity with which they are put together. I listen to what people want and when I make a product I put in a healing prayer,” adds Bose. All her products are free from artificial colours and synthetic fragrances. In her new line, you can find summer special products such as Jhelum Loves Refresher Hair Spray, Soothsayer Face Mist, Soothsayer Face Mist in Rose and Footloose Feet Spray. “I am also concentrating on making customised fragrances which are not only nice smelling but also have a therapeutic quality,” she adds.
