To com­mem­o­rate 25 years in de­sign, Sarita Handa has launched her first ever hand­loom home decor range for the sea­son that boasts of ex­quis­ite hand­wo­ven soft fur­nish­ings. For this, the de­signer house has col­lab­o­rated with a 65-year-old in­sti­tu­tion Sar­vo­day Ashram Etah and its brand Ek­ma­tra for hand­spun and hand­wo­ven fab­rics that have been fur­ther ac­cen­tu­ated with hand em­broi­dery tech­niques, ap­pliqué work, patch­work, zardozi thread hand­work and fin­ished with an­tique matte beads. The new col­lec­tion has a plethora of vi­brant em­broi­dered and quilted bed­spreads, hand­made throws with em­broi­dery ac­cents and dec­o­ra­tive cush­ions with the sig­na­ture Sarita Handa em­broi­deries. “As a com­pany, we have al­ways be­lieved in the beauty of hu­man touch. For the past 25 years, we have sup­ported In­dian tex­tiles and her­itage em­broi­deries.
