THE NO-COMMENT CM
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is not one to let a barb slip past. Curiously, however, he is not reacting to attacks by Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, who has been touring the state for a month now, and taking the CM to task over the June 6 firing in Mandsaur in which five farmers were killed. The CM, say BJP insiders, does not want to dignify the allegations with a response. Two prominent members of the state BJP—Rajya Sabha MP Prabhat Jha and state minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya—seem to be doing the task instead.
