Yeddyurappa was shocked when the Bengaluru police came knocking on his door at midnight looking for his private secretary N.R. Santhosh, accused of conspiring to kidnap BJP leader K.S. Eshwarappa’s media advisor Vinay. Santhosh is alleged to have instigated a group for the May 11 kidnap attempt. Santhosh is still missing while Yeddyurappa has dashed off an angry letter to the police commissioner.
