Land for hotel scam

The CBI, in its FIR, has accused Lalu, of rigging a tender process in 2005, when he was railway minister, to award the sublease of two railway hotels in Ranchi and Puri to his favoured hoteliers in exchange for three acres of prime land in Patna, routed through a benami company. Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi have been named co-accused in the case.

Disproport­ionate assets and money laundering cases:

ED has already chargeshee­ted Misa Bharti and CA Rajesh Agrawal for money laundering. I-T department has provisiona­lly attached Misa and husband Shailesh’s properties
