WHY COACHING
“Coaching makes preparation very easy and organised,” says Veerwal, who is pursuing computer science engineering at IIT Bombay. He took coaching tests and other exams such as Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) that helped him develop speed and accuracy.

PREPARATION STRATEGY
Tina Dabi cracked the civil services exam in first attempt. Alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi, Dabi started her preparation right from Class 11. “My daily routine included studying for seven to eight hours, proper sleep, a healthy diet and workout session.”
PRIME FOCUS
She emphasised on solving mock test papers, previous year’s question papers, reading UPSC prescribed books and newspaper on a daily basis. “It helps in understanding the level of in-depth study that the exam demands.”

Madhur Gupta left his job at Amazon to prepare for CAT. “For me, the preparation didn’t mean anything if it was less than 99.8 per cent. This was the bare minimum I could afford,” says Gupta, alumnus of Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi.
