SCORE SETTLED
The cold war between Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and woman and child welfare minister Pankaja
Munde is an interesting watch. Pankaja was upset over Fadnavis rolling back her decision to declare anganwadi workers an essential service (thereby preventing them from going on strike). The minister had her revenge a fortnight later when at an April 6 rally in Mumbai by BJP president Amit Shah her supporters loudly protested the absence of her father Gopinath Munde’s photograph from the dais. Pankaja ignored Fadnavis’s request to pacify them. Touché.
