ITC chairman and MD Sanjiv Puri, speaking at the India Today Conclave, reiterated his group’s commitment to combat global warming through its business practices and illustrated that sustainability makes good business sense. The challenge of global warming is here to stay and companies have to find innovative ways of doing business in the new world.

MANAGEMENT ADVICE “I think there are areas like carbon-pricing etc. that can galvanise further action. We need to make it stronger. Second, it’s a complex area. It cannot be done by any one company alone and we have to pursue the route of collaboration, pursue the route of public-private partnerships”
