Srinagar: Adding another accolade to its achievements, Srinagar Smart City Ltd. has clinched the “Best Smart Urban Mobility Award” at the Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi.

Over Rs 60 Cr
Allocated For Pedestrian, Cycling Tracks
Srinagar: The Srinagar Smart City has allocated over Rs 60 crore for the comprehensive development of pedestrian footpaths, cycling tracks and illumination along the bustling stretch from Dalgate to Habak Crossing including Nishat Sathu, officials said.
A senior official said approximately Rs 20 crore has been dedicated to enhancing pedestrian footpath infrastructure on both sides of the road from Dalgate to Habak crossing.
Srinagar’s smart city projects have not only enhanced the quality of life for residents but have also positioned the city as a leader in the national smart cities landscape.
