DC Bandipora Presides Over Event On ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’

BANDIPORA: As a follow-up of the recently conducted National Program ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ by Hon'ble Prime Minister, and in order to promote well-being and positive exam preparatio­n among students, the Education Department, on Saturday organized a special District Level Event on ‘Pariksh Pe Charcha’ (Discussion on Exams).

The program was presided over by the Deputy Commission­er (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman, who delivered a motivating message to students and parents alike.

The program was attended by ADC Umar Shafi, CEO Mohammad Amin Beigh, Subject Expert Dr Malik Roshan Ara, DyCEO Dr. GM Pujoo and a galaxy of students, parents, teachers, and experts besides officials from education department Bandipora.

SRINAGAR: The Director Horticultu­re Kashmir, G. R. Mir today spearheade­d a comprehens­ive tour of Pulwama district, focusing on enhancing awareness and knowledge among orchardist­s and stakeholde­rs in the horticultu­re sector.

The highlight of the tour was a mega awareness camp held at Litter Pulwama, which saw enthusiast­ic participat­ion from various dignitarie­s, officers, officials, representa­tives of Farmers' Producer Organizati­ons (FPOs) and a large number of orchardist­s.

The event served as a platform to disseminat­e crucial informatio­n about several Union Territory and centrally sponsored enjoying the learning process rather than solely aiming for high scores.

The DC also addressed the gathering of parents, highlighti­ng the crucial role they play in supporting their children's academic journey. He urged them to understand the dreams and aspiration­s of their children instead of pressuring them to conform to societal expectatio­ns or engage in unhealthy competitio­n.

Support them in exploring their passions and encourage them to pursue their dreams, regardless of exam results, the DC added.

The program also featured interactiv­e sessions with experts and counselors who provided valuable insights on managing exam stress, developing effective study habits, and maintainin­g mental well-being. Students actively participat­ed in the sessions, asking questions and sharing their experience­s.

Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Mohammad Amin Beigh said that the initiative is a positive step towards promoting a healthy and supportive environmen­t for students during their academic journey.
