Sarmad Hafeez Holds Public Outreach Camp In Kupwara

KUPWARA: Secretary, Youth service and Sports, Sarmad Hafeez, on Friday convened a mega public darbar at Town Hall Kupwara to take stock of public grievances besides assessing developmen­t activities in the area.

On the occasion, Secretary also e-inaugurate­d three developmen­t projects in the area.

Addressing at the Public Darbar, Sarmad Hafeez compliment­ed the people for tremendous achievemen­ts recorded in growth and developmen­t of Kupwara district besides appreciati­ng the district administra­tion for their dedicated efforts on this account.

JAMMU: Secretary Cooperativ­e, Babila Rakwal, on friday chaired a meeting of senior officers to review the status of "Formation of PACS as FPOs" at civil Secretaria­t, Jammu.

The Secretary was briefed about the scheme and the target fixed by the Government of India for formation of FPOs under Central Sector Scheme, i.e Formation and Promotion of FPOs, where under one FPO in a single block has to be formed initially.

It was also informed that the PACS selected by the Selection Committee in a particular block will then establish FPO Cooperativ­e from their members under Central Sector Scheme.

The meeting also discussed other issues pertaining to formation
