Kashmir Tourism Braces For Busy Spring Season

Srinagar: After winter, spring season is also going to be the busiest period of Kashmir tourism as travel agents get bulk bookings for upcoming months.

Despite a prolonged dry winter period, the late snowfall revived winter tourism in Kashmir as the majority of the hotels and houseboats were occupied for February.

The travel agents of Kashmir are busy with the bookings for the spring season, which is anticipate­d to witness an enhanced flow of tourists.

Spring is traditiona­lly considered one of the best times to visit Kashmir, as the region undergoes a breathtaki­ng transforma­tion with the blooming of tulips, almond blossoms, and vibrant wildflower­s across its lush valleys.

Travel agents claimed that they are receiving bulk bookings for the months of March,

April and May.

"We are expecting a good season ahead. Bookings are coming in bulk for spring months. We are witnessing a significan­t increase in inquiries and bookings for the upcoming spring season. People are eager to experience the unparallel­ed beauty of Kashmir during this time of the year, and we are ready to provide them with memorable experience­s," said President Travel Agents Associatio­n of Kashmir (TAAK)

“Preparatio­ns are going on to cater to the huge rush of tourists. While February has been a nice month for Kashmir tourism, March also looks promising. For April, May and June, bookings are coming in bulk,” Tramboo said.
