Srinagar, Mar 05 (KNO): In an effort to educate the public about the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), an awareness camp was held at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar on the 4th and 5th of March. The initiative aimed to disseminate crucial information about the Digital Health Initiative ABDM among the masses.

Nasir Ahmad, Consultant IEC ABDM, highlighted the significance of these camps, stating that they were initiated under the guidance of the Mission Director ABDM, Nazim Zai Khan. These camps served as a platform to educate individuals about the various aspects of the ABDM.

During the event, attendees were provided with informative materials to enhance their understanding of the ABDM. Moreover, on-spot services by Ayushman Bharat Health Assistants (ABHA) were made available to assist visitors. Additionally, the online OPD tickets were generated through the online OPDbased SCAN and SHARE facility, streamlining the process for patients.

The awareness camps, which commenced at Srinagar hospitals, are scheduled to continue until the 17th of March. This extended duration offers the public ample opportunities to learn about and engage with the Digital Health Initiative ABDM, ultimately aiming to improve healthcare accessibility and efficiency across the region.
