NEW DELHI: The underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim and his right hand, Chhota Shakeel are on the most popular social networking site — Facebook. Apart from telephonic conversations, they used the messenger to communicate with the criminals who were given a task to eliminate Swami Chakrapani, a Right wing Hindu leader; the chargesheet filed by Delhi Police Special Cell reads.

The Special Cell has filed the charge-sheet against the four accused who were arrested by the teams of Delhi Police. The accused, identified as Robinson, Junaid, Yunus and Manish, are presently lodged in Tihar Jail. Junaid is the one with whom both Dawood and Shakeel used to communicate via Facebook on his fake Facebook profile of the name Suraj Chaudhary.

The charge-sheet in possession with Millennium Post reveals that Dawood and Shakeel uses Facebook with fake names and fake photographs.

Millennium Post was the first to report that four persons have been given a task to eliminate Chakrapani, as he had burnt a car of Dawood that he reportedly owned once. And after gutting the car in flames, he gave a statement that the remains would be used to make a toilet. However, in a telephonic interview with Millennium Post, Chhota Shakeel said that the Hyundai Accent car that was set ablaze was never Dawood’s property but to gain the publicity, Chakrapani is using the name of Dawood.

Shakeel had also alleged that Chakrapani had for no reason picked up a fight with them to somehow associate himself with the ‘D’ company and now he had to face the consequences by loosing his life. Chakrapani is a leader of the All India Hindu Mahasabha in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and had specially purchased the car for Rs 32,000 at an auction of Dawood’s properties held in Mumbai in November 2015 only to send a strong message to ‘D’ company.

The charge-sheet further mentions that after the car was burnt, the Special Cell learnt that Chakrapani has been threatened of life by Shakeel and during surveillance it was found that four persons are planning to eliminate him. “When all four of them were apprehended, Junaid disclosed that Rs 1 lakh was transferred to his account using hawala transaction and he used to communicate with Shakeel via Facebook and had once communicated with Dawood. Junaid further collaborated with Yunus, Robinson and Manish,” the charge-sheet reads.

Facebook chats, that were in coded language, were also enclosed along with the chargesheet. It also mentions that the arms and ammunition to eliminate Chakrapani were also purchased and they were about to implicate the planning.
