LIFE OF COURTESANS

‘The Courtesan – an Enigma’ conceived and conceptual­ized by renowned danseuse Manjari Chaturvedi, is a combinatio­n of dance performanc­es on ‘Darbarikat­hak’ and an explicit narration of the anecdotes and stories from the life of the courtesan by actress Neesha Singh.

The deserts of India are more alive than the Sahara or the Arabian peninsula, with flora, fauna and especially the rural communitie­s that inhabit the arid landscape. IIC presents an exhibition of photograph­s on ‘People and Landscapes of the Living Deserts of Rajasthan and Ladakh’ by Ajit Rana.
