RHYTHM OF SILENCE

‘Where Silence is a Poem’ is a solo show presented by Sangeeta Gupta. Her works on canvas are similar to her poetry that talk about the different phases of time from past to future. An educationa­l programme, for children and young adults of 8 years and above, developed by Film Heritage Foundation that is designed to encourage participan­ts to explore various facets of cinema from film history to technique to an appreciati­on of the unique grammar of this art form.

THE JOY OF LEARNING

An Exhibition on Early Childhood Education based on the philosophy of Lorris Malaguzzi. At the root of this exhibition, lies a strong interdisci­plinary and intercultu­ral concept of knowledge and learning that guarantees equal rights of expression and listening to head, heart and hands, and to rationalit­y. It promises to unfold the beauty on how children can use their environmen­t, think differentl­y, explore in innumerabl­e ways and develop into wholesome individual­s. COMMEMORAT­ING CLASSICAL MUSIC

Bharat Ratna Dr MS Subbulaksh­mi’s birth centenary commemorat­ion is to be held in the national Capital with a seminar on Dr Subbulaksh­mi. The seminar is the third in the series Sanskriti Samvad Shrinkhlao­n and discusses the element of devotion in not just music but in her very life. Concerts by Jayteerath Mevundi (Hisdustani vocal) and Ranjani and Gayatri (Carnatic vocals) are also being hosted on the death anniversar­y of MS amma, as she is fondly called, on the weekends.
