IOC, Fortis jointly organise free health check-up and awareness camp
NEW DELHI: Free Health Check-up and Awareness Camp is being jointly organised by Haldia Refinery, Indianoil, Fortis Hospital, Kolkata & Lions Club on December 10, 12, 14 and 16, 2016.
The camps will be held from 10 am to 3 pm on December 10 at Srikrishnapur, Sutahata, Haldia and Lion’s Club Eye Hospital Premises, on December 12 at Horekhali, Bharat Sevashram Sangha Premises.
December 14 at Hutment Area in front of Haldia Refinery Main Gate and on December 16 at Landmark Building, in front of Mohana Market, Haldia.
The health check-up camps are focussed primarily on women and girl child and also attended to general patients.
An Awareness talk was presented for women regarding importance of nutrition, breast cancer awareness and cervical cancer awareness.
The first camp in this series was held on Saturday at Lions Club Eye Hospital, Sutahata.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr. B. K. Hazarika, Gm(incharge), Haldia Refinery in the presence of Mr. S P Bannerjee, First Vice President, Lion’s Club; Mr. R K Debnath, President, Lion’s Club Haldia.
Dignitaries from Fortis Hospital, Kolkata represented by Mr. Pinaki Choudhary & Mr. Rama Sanyal; Mr. T. K. Bisai, CHRM; Dr. S. Guha, ACMO, Haldia Refinery.
Doctors and paramedics from Fortis Hospital, attended to about 450 patients, majority of which were women and girl children. Lions Club provided all assistance regarding venue, man power, publicity, registration, crowd management for the camp.
Haldia Refinery, Indianoil provided free medicines and free pathology detection kits for the patients, logistics and coordination for the camp.
Haldia Refinery, Indianoil was thankful to Fortis Hospital, Kolkata and Lions Club, Haldia for coming together in making this camp a success. Lions Club, Durgachaak will be associated in place of Lions Club Haldia for camps on 14th and 16th December 2016. Important organisations, unions and associations of Haldia and Purba Medinipur have supported the health camps at various locations.
Haldia Refinery is organising many such developmental activities for improvement of health and sanitation, education and drinking water along with other facilities for general people of Purba Medinipur under Corporate Social Responsibilty program.
