CAMERA DILLI-KA
The Centre for Community Knowledge (CCK) at Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has been creating a collection of photographs from the personal holdings and amateur photographers from the city of Delhi. It is called the Narain Prasad Collection, in memory of late Narain Prasad(1924-2016) resident of Haveli Haider Quli, Chandni Chowk, Delhi whose photo donation started off this journey. Approximately 120 photos will be exhibited and the story of how this collection has been built will be the subject of a talk at the venue.

INSPIRING CREATION
‘Age No Bar - III’ is a group show of paintings curated by Joyattam Dutta Roy, where the young artists have explored the relationship between inspiration and creation. The art exhibition would be inaugurated by Amitabh Kant (CEO, Niti Aayog) and Paresh Maiti (Padma Sri and renowned artist).

CHRISTMAS BELLS AT DILLI HAAT
It is time to feel the warmth of festivities and celebration in the air. In a bid to boost tourism in the city, Delhi Tourism is celebrating Christmas Carnival at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri from 23rd – 25th December and at Dilli Haat, INA from 23rd – 31st December. The occasion of Christmas spreads joy and laughter and this celebration would heartily bid farewell to 2016 and welcome the new-year in great enthusiasm. Groups from various churches of Delhi will be conducting Christmas Carols and cultural programmes every evening to lighten up the mood of visitors.

PRATHA PARV
Sangeet Natak Akademi presents - ‘Pratha Parv’. The Sangeet Natak Akademi is India’s national academy for music, dance and drama and is the first National Academy of the arts set-up by the Republic of India. Pratha Parv is dedicated to great saint, poet and composer Tyagaraja with exhibitions and film screening sessions.
