INSPIRING CREATION

‘Age No Bar - III’ is a group show of paintings curated and mentored by Joyattam Dutta Roy, where the young artists have explored the relationsh­ip between inspiratio­n and creation. The art exhibition had been inaugurate­d by Amitabh Kant (CEO, Niti Aayog) and Paresh Maiti (Padma Sri and renowned artist). One of the young artists, Suramya Sud from Sanskriti school of Delhi believes in expressing herself through her work. She is inspired by realist painter Edward Hopper, who had once said, “If you could say it in words there would be no reason to paint” WHEN: December 23 – 29 WHERE: All India Fine Arts & Craft Society (AIFACS) TIMING: 11 am – 7 pm

CHRISTMAS BELLS AT DILLI HAAT

It is time to feel the warmth of festivitie­s and celebratio­n in the air. In a bid to boost tourism in the city, Delhi Tourism is celebratin­g Christmas Carnival at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri from 23rd – 25th December and at Dilli Haat, INA from 23rd – 31st December. The occasion of Christmas spreads joy and laughter and this celebratio­n would heartily bid farewell to 2016 and welcome the new-year in great enthusiasm. Groups from various churches of Delhi will be conducting Christmas Carols and cultural programmes every evening to lighten up the mood of visitors.
